You've got your new wig, great! But like any hair, it does need to be washed! It can be daunting to wash your new hair, worried that you'll be too rough or damage your hair somehow. In this blog post I'll be going over how to wash, dry and even style your hair!

Washing

Before washing, brush your wig very thoroughly but be careful not to be too rough. Then, gently remove any teasing or tangles from the wig and from the brush. Next, using cold water saturate or submerge the wig until fully wet then wash with a mild wig shampoo, Then add conditioner into cold water and let the wig soak for around 5 minutes and rinse lightly. (NOTE: wig shampoo's are designed to be safe for your wigs, be sure to listen to your specialist recommendation's on what to use) but be sure not to rub the wig, as this can damage it! After this, be sure to rinse in fresh, clear water and then hang it up and let dry

Drying

Allow your wig to dry naturally at room temperature. Never brush while it's wet and DO NOT use a hairdryer, this can damage your wig greatly!

Styling When completely dry, brush your wig into your desired shape & style! The pre-set body curl will ensure that it bounces back to its original shape!

As always, thank you for reading through this new blog post! Be sure to keep up to date with us on the website & for all updates on styles, cuts, wigs and more follow us on Instagram!

NOTE: Do not use electric drying aids, like hair dryers, curling irons, etc. Keep away from excessive heat, open flames, ovens, BBQ's, lighters, toaster ovens, etc.
